Governor Tim Walz did not participate in today’s Minnesota Department of Health briefing. The governor was in Rochester for Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to the Mayo Clinic.

Much of the focus of today’s media availability was on the continuation of distance learning for the remainder of the school year.

Local 34 has ordered face masks for you and your family!

We are hoping that they will be in to the office end of next week. At that point we will notify members on a possible drive up at the hall for pickup. Please do not get out of your car - we do not want any socializing or congregation of members during the pickup.

We will be able to mail some out to members that can't pick up the masks in person including retirees.

We will post pickup times on the website, emails and the non official 34 Facebook site Salamanders of Local 34.
